Additional Needs
The aim of CTL is to provide access to toys and opportunities for play to all children in the local community. In order to do this we are working with Health Professionals and the Early Years Services to develop plans to meet additional needs. This has included developing a questionnaire to find out about the needs of local residents and other existing services and talking to parents and carers.
We have already been awarded funding from Derbyshire County Council and The Gatsby Foundation to develop services for additional needs including multicultural education.
Some of this will be used to purchase specialist toys based on the advice we receive.
We would therefore welcome any comments or advice from parents and carers.
